Maria Tran is an interdisciplinary artist, educator, and facilitator with a background in psychology and adult learning. Holding a Bachelor of Psychology from Western Sydney University and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment, she has over 15 years of experience delivering culturally responsive workshops across Australia.
Her facilitation work spans creativity, acting, stage combat, self-care, and community storytelling, with a focus on empowering diverse and underrepresented communities. From her early role as Youth Digital Cultures Coordinator at I.C.E. to her current work co-facilitating Acting For Mindfulness, Maria’s practice is grounded in trauma-informed, inclusive approaches that use creativity as a catalyst for growth, healing, and social connection.
